The Madrid of the Bourbons Private tour will take place in the spaces where the Bourbon Royal Family were staying in Madrid. Most of the places are belonging to the 18th, 19th and 20th century. We will move from the Plaza de Oriente, our meeting point, to the Puerta del Sol, the heart of the city and Kilometer Zero of the main roads of Spain. We will visit the main institutional and financial buildings, the famous Gran Via which housed the first skyscrapers in Europe, the Cibeles Square, with the current town hall and central Spanish bank and the Alcala Gate, close to the famous Retiro Park.

Tour length: between 105 and 120 minutes. Meeting point: Plaza de Oriente. Tour description: We will start at Oriente Square, where we’ll see the Royal Palace and the Royal Theatre. Then, we will go on by the Square of Isabel II, in which we’ll explain to you how this area has changed since the city was founded. Going on by Arenal Street, we will find San Ginés, one of the most traditional churches in Madrid, and some palaces and building with tradition. You will be told how Puerta del Sol became the epicentre of Madrilenian life and the numerous events that had the square as its main stage. Then, we will take Alcalá Street in one of its most majestic sections, almost fully refurbished during the 19th and 20th century due to the arrival of important banks. And we will finish our visit in Cibeles Circus, among the most beautiful and famous plazas in Madrid. We will tell you about the history of the fountain and the monumental building that surrounds it.
